This July, the Taco Bell Foundation gave 100 Live Más Scholarship recipients a reason to come together during the Summer of Creativity – our first ever in-person conference designed to offer Live Más Scholars a dedicated space to network and share their passions with likeminded individuals.
This year’s Summer of Creativity was certainly one for the books, as we brought together Live Más Scholars from all over the country to San Diego, California to cultivate their skills, make life-long connections, and boldly pursue their passions and hobbies – all in true Taco Bell style, of course.
Because the Taco Bell Foundation prides itself on leading with authenticity to empower Live Más Scholars to make real change in their communities, the Summer of Creativity was focused on creating a space to harness Scholar ambitions for good, including programming aimed at inspiring conversations around wellness, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. It also featured a rockstar lineup of speakers and motivators, including Taco Bell’s very own CEO Mark King, who took the time to meet and network one on one with Scholars. Attendees even had the opportunity to listen to live music performed by fellow, talented Live Más Scholars.
A big thank you to all who made this conference possible! We are so excited to see what will come next for this ambitious group of Live Más Scholars.
